CommissionKeep Privacy Policy

CommissionKeep's commission, tax, expense, income and other financial calculations are informational tools based on the information you enter. They are not tax, accounting, legal, investment or financial advice. Tax figures are always labeled as an estimated tax reserve and are an estimate only.

We collect the information you provide when you create and use an account, including:

• Your name and email address.
• Authentication and account information, such as your securely hashed password, email confirmation status, and sign-in timestamps handled by our authentication provider.
• Transaction and commission information you enter: property address, client name, deal type, status, contract and closing dates, sale price, commission percentage and gross commission.
• Brokerage splits, brokerage caps, referral fees, team splits and transaction fees.
• Business expenses, including date, amount, category, description and notes.
• Income and financial calculation information derived from what you enter, such as net commission, estimated tax reserve and estimated take-home amounts.
• Goals and account preferences, such as your annual take-home income goal, tax reserve percentage, default splits and fees, and currency.
• Communications you send to CommissionKeep support, including your email address and message.
• Technical information that our hosting and authentication infrastructure necessarily processes to deliver the service, such as IP address, browser or device type, and server and error logs.

CommissionKeep uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general website usage. Google Analytics collects general usage and device information such as pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location derived from IP address, device and browser type, language, referring website and anonymous interaction events (for example that the public commission calculator was used, that an account was created, or that a first deal was saved). These events record only that an action occurred. We do not send names, email addresses, client names, property addresses, passwords, authentication information, commission amounts, sale prices, expense amounts, notes or any other information you enter into CommissionKeep to Google Analytics. CommissionKeep does not use advertising trackers, and does not collect precise location, contacts, photos, mileage/GPS data, bank account connections or documents. We do not currently process payments. If we introduce paid plans, subscription and payment information would be handled by a payment processor, and this policy would be updated before that happens.

A small amount of goal-milestone preference data is stored locally in your browser (not on our servers) so celebration messages are not repeated.

• Providing and operating CommissionKeep.
• Calculating commissions, estimated tax reserve and estimated take-home amounts.
• Saving your deals and expenses.
• Providing reports, goals and account functionality.
• Authenticating you and keeping your account secure.
• Responding to customer support requests.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the service.
• Processing subscriptions if paid plans are introduced.
• Meeting legal obligations and preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:

• With service providers that operate infrastructure on our behalf (see below).
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of users, the public or Real Georgia Properties LLC.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, where the receiving party remains bound by this policy or a comparable one.
• With your direction or consent.

CommissionKeep relies on third-party infrastructure to run, and those providers process your data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Currently we use:

• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) — database hosting, authentication and account storage. This is where your deals, expenses, settings and account record are stored.
• Lovable / Cloudflare — application hosting and content delivery for the CommissionKeep website and app, including request and error logs.
• Google Fonts — web fonts loaded by your browser when a page renders.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website and app usage analytics. Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser and processes general usage and device information as described above. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie controls.

We may add providers for analytics, communications, payment processing or app distribution in the future. If we do, we will update this policy to name them.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and database row-level security rules that restrict each account's records to that account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.

Account information is generally retained while your account remains active, and is deleted following a valid account-deletion request. We may retain limited information where it must reasonably be kept for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, backup integrity or other legitimate obligations. Routine backups and server logs age out on their normal schedule, generally within 30 days.

You can permanently delete your CommissionKeep account and its associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app, or from our Delete Your CommissionKeep Account page. Deletion is permanent and removes your saved deals, expenses, categories, goals, settings and login credentials.

CommissionKeep does not use advertising cookies. We use the storage necessary to keep you signed in (a session token stored by your browser) and to remember small preferences such as which goal milestones you have already seen. We also use Google Analytics, which sets first-party analytics cookies (for example _ga) to measure visits and general usage. We do not currently display a cookie consent banner; you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Clearing this storage signs you out.

CommissionKeep is a business tool intended for adults and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

CommissionKeep is operated from the United States and information is processed and stored on servers in the United States. If you use CommissionKeep from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app, or by contacting us.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
